I’m Sarah, originally from the UK, but I now live in Thailand. I have an amazing husband, great family and wonderful friends around the world, but most importantly I am a child of God. I am not perfect, but because of God’s grace and love, I am perfectly forgiven.

My earliest memories of baking and making cakes are with my Mum - I remember spending every Saturday as a child with her whisking up yummy creations!
I spent 10 years in Fashion Buying & Production, eventually making the switch to baking & cake decorating in 2006 when a work colleague, asked me to make a baby shower cake! It awoke my passion and love of baking for others and sugar artistry! My new journey was born!
I began teaching baking & cake decorating to the general public and providing vocational training within social enterprise organisations in the UK. Then moved to Thailand in 2012 and continued the journey of teaching, especially to those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, that would normally be marginalised by society. I take great pleasure in seeing people reach their full potential, gain self-confidence, become whole and achieve life-changing results through using creative arts.
I see this creative skill as a God given gift, that I enjoy sharing with others. I have had minimal formal training over the years. Only attending my first formal training in 2019 completing the Train The Trainer course in Spain where I learnt valuable skills from highly acclaimed cake artist Paul Bradford and business genius David Brice and become a Paul Bradford Approved Tutor.
This is a new chapter and birth of ‘Arise Cake Creations’. Over the years, I have gained so much knowledge, and want to share all the tips and techniques that I have learnt along the way and thought the best way I could do this was by creating video tutorials - enter ‘Arise Cake Creations YouTube Channel (created September 2020)’. This website/blog is a combination of my video tutorials, recipes, cake and sugar crafting adventures. I look forward to you following me on this journey!
